Description
My Cactus showing of on a black backdrop..........Despite its name November cactus, the first plants come to the stores already in September and are there until Christmas. The early ones are imported, the first Swedish breeders usually die until early October. Then richly budded, healthy and well-branched.
The November cactus has a long, long bloom and many have so many buds in their utmost joints that they almost fall under the weight.
Those you buy this year may bloom at another time next year - but bloom they do. And blooms make your november cactus once or twice - every year!......Hybrids from ..............In tropical America's rainforests, many cacti species grow with flat and leafy tribes and branches in the trees. They are so-called epiphytes, plants, which adhere to bark springs and limbs to access sunlight, without sacrificing nutrition from the tree. The genus Schlumbergera consists of about five species that all grow in tropical rainforest in Brazil.

Gorgeous composition, Rosita! Beautiful color and light. I had a Christmas cactus that had purple blooms which was a little different.

That dramatic dark background, the reds, gold and that violet really share a wonderful seasonal image Rosita. I love this. F/L/TW.
